Mechanical and Renewables Manager/Qualified and Experienced Plumber

The position is based in Waterford - Company Vehicle, Pension, Death in Service

Benefit, Employee Assistance Programme, Health Care, Mobile phone, laptop and

assigned office base in Waterford.

We are expanding the Mechanical and Renewables team. We have developed an in-

house CRM that manages project delivery and provides real time information to the

teams in Dublin and Waterford. We are transitioning to a paperless operation with all

information electronically maintained by the end of 2022.

The successful candidate should possess :

Qualified FETAC Level 6 Plumber and have the theoretical underpinning and related

knowledge, skill and competence required to perform effectively as a craftsperson.

Ability to work autonomously and contribute to the technical team.

Takes personal responsibility for managing plumbing teams including apprentices

and completing projects on time with adherence to regulations and relevant quality

standards, Health and Safety.

Interacts effectively with colleagues and customers in a residential setting which is

experiencing constant and progressive change with the move to conserve energy

and convert to renewable technologies.

Be knowledgeable with regards to skills and competences relevant to the plumbing

craft.

Be able to apply skills and knowledge in different contexts; to exercise initiative and

solve problems by determining possible solutions and judging the appropriateness of

different approaches available.

Ability to diagnose and resolve problems encountered in the course of project

delivery and the ability to observe technical and environmental standards and

obligations.

Ability to communicate and interact effectively and exercise appropriate leadership

within the workplace environment and the team.

Senior Office Administrator

Waterford Insulation provide Energy Efficiency Upgrade Solutions to residential and commercial retrofit

properties and homes in Leinster and the Southeast. This is a fast-growing sector, and we are seeking an

experienced and confident Senior Administrator to join the Dublin team in our Citywest office.

Overview of the Role

The successful candidate will have responsibility for providing administrative support to the Project

Managers and Construction Site teams for projects in Dublin, Kildare, Carlow, Kilkenny and Waterford. This is

a fast-paced environment with multiple projects on the go. The person will play a vital part in the smooth-

running of our business.

Key responsibilities of the role:

• Create Information Packs for all Projects - Contact contactors and crew to request, gather,

generate, collate, file, print & prepare the necessary documentation

• Schedule Service Alteration - Contact Utility companies to arrange service alterations at

participating properties

• Submit Variations to our Key Client and monitor the status

Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to

• Input work orders

• Support the team in communications with contractors and crew regarding progress on-site

• Maintain, update, and retrieve project data and correspondence held on the company's

management systems

• Work as part of a team ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standard

• Manage office supplies including stationery and consumables

• Provide other administrative support duties when required.

Requirements

• Excellent IT skills and proficiency with desktops, PCs, mobiles and networking, specifically Microsoft

Office packages -, Word, Excel, G-suite and ZOHO

• Uploading, downloading and filing documents electronically

• Excellent literacy, numeracy, accuracy and attention to detail

• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively and establish good working relationships

• Must be able to multi-task and provide effective support within a fast-paced environment

• Highly self-motivated with an ability to work on their own initiative

• Team Player

• Adhere to the Company’s conduct guidelines and maintain a working environment which is

supportive and respectful of other employees

• Be willing and flexible

• 2-3 years previous experience within a similar role is desirable
